A different method to accelerate orthodontic tooth movement: Randomized controlled trial

Background/Aim: Since both patients and orthodontists want orthodontic treatment to be completed in a short time, various methods have been developed accelerate tooth movement. Vibration applications interrupted force are noninvasive that easily accepted by the patient. Aim of this study is researching modified vibration together how effect movement rate pain perception occurs during canine distalization. Material Methods: Twenty (10 males 10 females) with Class II div 1 malocclusion were selected for study. The Hycon device on right side activated routine protocol, but left activation protocol modified. randomly divided into 2 groups one group was applied AcceleDent device. Each patient provided chart score they experienced Results: Fastest measured protocol(HL)+AcceleDent (1.44 mm/monthly). results showed which used faster than only.
